SOCIAL FUNCTIONS - REGULARLY SCHEDULED EVENTS

  • Vermont Gay Social Alternatives (VGSA): Dinner in Barre, VT every Monday. The first Friday of the month meets for an early evening of wine tasting at Wine Works on upper St. Paul St. in Downtown Burlington. VGSA Volleyball. 6 pm-8 pm every Sunday at Redstone Campus (UVM), 6-8pm and Thursdays at the Russell Farm in Hinesburg, 6-8pm. FMI: www.vgsa.com

  • St. Paul's Episcopal Cathedral: 2 Cherry Street, at the corner of Battery has long been a place which creates a place at the table for GLBT Christians. We understand that the larger Christian church often joins the secular world in closing its doors to our GLBT sisters and brothers. We seek to offer a bridge between the painful experiences of GLBT Christians and the life-giving love of God with the introduction of a support group for gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender and questioning members of the St. Paul's community, residents of Burlington and beyond! The second Wednesday evening of each month, from 5:00 to 6:30 pm, we gather in the Small Conference Room for a time of conversation, support and prayer. No advance sign-up is necessary.  ALL ARE WELCOME!   Contact The Rev. Cn. Tanya Wallace for more information, twallace@stpaulscathedralvt.org or 864-0471.

  • First Unitarian Universalist Society: 152 Pearl Street, Burlington - Interweave Potluck, celebrating people of all sexual identities.  The second Sunday of each month at 12:30 (October to May). For more info, call 862-5630, email welcongbulruu@aol.com or visit the church's website.

  • Vermont Gay Men's' Chorus: The VT Gay Men's Chorus meets in Montpelier every other week for rehearsals. Meets weekly on Wednesdays at 6pm. FMI: 802/633-3605 or robnyves@hotmail.com or just show up!  People from Burlington encouraged to attend!
